Whether you follow sports or not, it’s hard to find anyone who hasn’t heard about the scandals attached to Hockey Canada. The second installment of the Kiwanis Club of Forest City-London’s Headliners Speaker’s Series delves into the story behind the scandals.
Our speakers today were Dr. Victoria Esses and Jonathon Juha from the London Middlesex Local Immigration Portal. They shared the findings from a study at Western University which provides an in-depth look at the discrimination experienced by immigrants in London and Middlesex, as well as strategies and recommendations for combating these issues.
On Saturday, October 21, 2023, Spinal Cord Injury Ontario (SCIO) and local supporter, client and volunteer, Mike Mulligan hosted the London Wheelchair Relay at Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre.
