Kiwanis Surpasses $1 Million Goal Kiwanis Supports Children’s Hospital
There was much to celebrate as Kiwanis International Divisions 3, 4 and 5 West have achieved and surpassed their $1 Million goal to help build the New Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario.
With the Kiwanis Clubs of Southwestern Ontario participating over the years in a variety of fundraising initiatives, it’s now time for Kiwanis members to sit back and watch as their dreams for children’s health care are realized. The $1 Million pledge will be used to create the Kiwanis Kids Care Centre at the New Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. The Centre will provide social and psychological services, as well as pastoral care, child life services and art therapy to sick children and their families throughout the hospital.
Way to go Kiwanis! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
Kiwanis is a global organization of member-volunteers who give more than 6
million hours and more than US$100 million each year to help change the
world one child and one community at a time. Any community need can
become a Kiwanis service project, especially if the need involves
children, who should have the help and the right to lead healthy,
successful lives. We believe that helping a child helps the world.
